I Thee Wed...

December 11, 2010 was the best day of my life. I married my VERY BESTEST friend. It was magical, emotional, spiritual... and pretty much everything a girl could ask for. A day neither of us will ever forget. Thank you to everyone who came to the temple and everyone who made the trip to our reception. It was amazing! Here are some high lights... photos were done by the amazingly talented Kayla at PENN YOUR PICTURE. check out her work!

The most AMAZING shot of the Manti Temple I have EVER seen...

Our temple guests and those who waited outside for us.

Holy Adventures

So since I have recieved my endowments, we have made a goal to do an endowment session in every temple in the state before June 2011 (Jeff's deployment date) So far, we have been quite successful! And... it has been awesome for us to experience it together, our relationship has grown leaps and bounds already! I am so grateful to have a companion who is so willing to keep us on the straight and narrow! He is more than I could ever ask for! :) So far, we have attended...

... the MANTI temple,

the PROVO temple,

the MOUNT TIMPANOGOS temple,

the SALT LAKE temple,

and the OQUIRRH MOUNTAIN temple.
More to come, so stay tuned :)

Happy Birthday to Me!

It's the BIG 23 for me this year and boy was it a fabulous one! Jeff and I went to dinner with Kade and Lindy because Kade's birthday falls on December 3, with mine the next day! Fun times! :)

Jeff spoiled me, yet again... he is just too good to me I think. He gave me the CUTEST pair of grey boots, the white coat I have been eyeing down for months, some super comfy slippers, and tons of scrapbook paper!

Isn't he just the most handsome man you have ever seen?! :)

I Love to See the TEMPLE...

...I'll go inside someday. Well, actually I just did! On November 26, alongside Jeff, Janet, my parents, grandparents, and Brenda, I was able to recieve my endowments! What an awesome experience, it was so special and I have never felt the spirit so strong! The temple really is an amazing place!
Isn't it just gorgeous all lit up at night!? This is the Manti temple and it is the same temple that we are going to be sealed in for time and all ETERNITY on December 11, 2010! I honestly can't wait!

Turkey Day 2010

The annual feed your face day was so much fun! This year we went to Uncle Ron and Aunt Brenda's house for the big feast! Family galore... their house was filled and it was awesome! Grandpa and Grams had all their sons and daughters there, which I think they was just tickled pink about!
I think he must have saw the ghost of the giant fried turkey we ate!

Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Marge with all thier children/spouses... Except West :(

Grandkids, their spouses, and even a few greatgrandkids with Grandpa and Grams!

Visitors and Car Wrecks

Wow. What a crazy couple of days!  Well the good news is that Jeff's wonderful mother is finally here visiting all the way from ALASKA! We have been excitedly waiting for her vacation home to Utah to come for a long time! I had the task of picking her up from the airport on Sunday, which was so much fun! But... anyone who knows me knows that I HATE driving in bad winter weather!

I panic, I stress, I freak out... I am just plain awful in winter weather behind the wheel! And it just so happened to be really bad weather all day, driving up and driving back from the airport. Thankfully we made it back safe and sound but I was exhasted from being a paniced, white-knuckle driver all day....

Anyways, so all went well until today (Monday) Janet, Jeff and I were bustling around good old Richfield, chatting, shopping and having a great time. When all was through, we were driving down Main street to go home and some STUPID 17 year old girl pulled out right in front of us! Jeff has really fast reflexes, thank goodness, and was able to slam on the brakes... but she was just too close. We ran into her drivers side and it totally busted up the whole front end of my car! Ugh! My poor car is going to need a major face lift... as you can see! [ Don't mind that I didn't wash it yet since the long drive through the nasty weather to the airport and back...]

So of course I burst into tears, Janet burst into tears and we called the police. No one was seriously injured, excpet for our dear momma Janet who was having chest pain and shortness of breath, poor thing! We ended up having to call the ambulance to take her to the hosiptal so they could do x-rays, test, etc. to make sure all was well. Everything came back clear. Some pain meds and rest was what she needed to be good as new! All in all it was quite the experience...

But on the good side, we were wearing our seatbelts, no one was killed, and I get a whole NEW front end on my car for free... (thank goodness it was all the other girl's fault) and THANK GOODNESS she had insurance to cover all the damage to my car!
